ABOUT ME
DR. VESTER APPIAH
The founder and Clinical Director, Dr. Vester Appiah, is a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Professional Counselor with a wealth of experience spanning over a decade. Her expertise lies in supporting individuals facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, substance abuse, crisis, relationship issues, major life transitions, spiritual dilemmas, and other complex mental health concerns.
Dr. Appiah’s academic journey is distinguished by her dedication to understanding and helping others. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, followed by a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health. Driven by a passion for healing, she pursued a Doctor of Education with a specialization in Community Care and Counseling, focusing on Traumatology. Additionally, she holds a certification in pastoral counseling from Liberty University.
Dr. Appiah is also Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and an Adjunct professor at Liberty University.
